JetVHeto

This is the home page for JetVHeto, a user-friendly, fast program to perform NNLL resummation for jet-veto efficiencies and cross sections in Higgs and Z-boson production, as well as resummation in the leading logarithms of the jet radius. It also performs NNLL resummation for the Higgs and Z-boson transverse momentum. The resummed predictions can be matched to fixed-order results provided by the user up N3LO (numerous examples files are provided for Z and 125 GeV Higgs production in 7, 8 and 13 TeV LHC collisions).

  • The resummation is based on the results in A. Banfi, P.F. Monni, G.P. Salam and G. Zanderighi, Phys. Rev. Lett. 109 (2012) 202001 [arXiv:1206.4998] (further information is to be found in JHEP 06 (2012) 159 [arXiv:1203.5773]), and of A. Banfi, P.F. Monni and G. Zanderighi JHEP 01 (2014) 097 [arXiv:1308.4634].
  • Resummation of leading logarithms of the jet radius is based on the results in M. Dasgupta, F.A. Dreyer, G.P. Salam, G. Soyez, JHEP 04 (2015) 039 [arXiv:1411.5182].
  • Version 3.0.0 implements the matching with N3LO as described in in A. Banfi, F. Caola, F.A Dreyer, P.F. Monni, G.P. Salam, G. Zanderighi and F. Dulat, arXiv:1511.02886.
  • If you use any of the fixed-order files provided, please cite the appropriate references, as shown in the README file. In particular, if you match resummation with N3LO please cite C. Anastasiou, C. Duhr, F. Dulat, F. Herzog, B. Mistlberger, Phys. Rev. Lett. 114 (2015) 212001 [arXiv:1503.06056] and R. Boughezal, F. Caola, K. Melnikov, F. Petriello, M. Schulze, Phys. Rev. Lett. 115 (2015) 8, 082003 [arXiv:1504.07922].

Download the latest version 3.0.0, released March 7, 2016.

Version 3.0.0 contains the fixed-order and benchmark files needed to reproduce the plots in the main text of arXiv:1511.02886 (see README for details).

To use the JetVHeto program, you will require LHAPDF (version 5.8.0 or higher), Hoppet (version 1.1.5 or higher) and Chaplin (version 1.2 or higher).
